We commissioned Matthew at Smart Fix Carpenters to build us bespoke Alcove Units in our living room. No mean feat when every single surface of our 1930s house is wonky! We complicated it further by wanting one alcove to house our dartboard! Anyway, Matthew smashed it, perfect joinery, clean, tidy and polite: we couldn't be happier! Now we have the job of painting the units to a colour of choice :)

SmartFix Carpenters have recently completed an under stair cupboard. The cupboard has now made the space a usable space. SFC made a fantastic job, 5 stars!

He also fitted a new under stairs cupboard enclosure with 3 access doors for storage. Matthews work was extremely good and he overcame a few issues which were unexpected. Rotten wood in the front door canopy was removed. The remaining good wood was treated to prevent wet rot. A new joint member was scarfed in and secured to support the existing joint. Very good result — thanks to Smart Fix Carpenters.
